This game has been a family staple in our house for over four years. I am hard pressed to find a game or toy that my kids want to play with for more that one “season” but they do exist. This is a family favorite and I am known to play alongside whatever child is playing. I cheer, I high five after a good tip, I’m all in. There is a mixture of listening to your customer’s orders and following directions that leads to figuring out the change that is owed once payment is exchanged. Osmo games are all fabulous but this is the true favorite. It also has the ability to scale the largest age range at 5-12 years.
You will need a base if you do not have one already (these are usually sold in a beginners kit, found here for ages 3-5 and here for ages 6-10). The base is what will hold the iPad and it includes a clip on mirror that will allow for the software to see what the child is doing on the surface in front of them. Genius.
