Citrus Electric Juicer

The first time I saw this contraption was in a shot of Ina Garten’s kitchen and I knew it had to be amazing. There is a time and a place for a citrus juicer that is done by hand. However, when juicing 50+ lemons to make homemade lemonade or even juicing a few lemons and limes for a pitcher of whiskey sours, you might want to call in reinforcements. This machine is easy to use, safe enough to let your kids help with and is actually a lot of fun. My son’s eyes light up when this comes out of the pantry.

Simply slice whatever citrus you are using in half, press cut side down onto the reamer and voilà. Let this juicer take care of the rest. One of the best features is the ability it gives you to start and stop the flow as you go by clicking the spout up or down. You may need to measure a certain amount and the spout is conveniently located at a height that you can fit a 2-cup Pyrex measuring cup underneath.
